The Overview
Revolution Golf started with Justin Tupper’s passion for the game and a simple business built around instructional DVDs.
As the audience grew, the business began moving beyond physical products toward a digital platform and community for golfers. At that stage, there was no established visual system to connect the different parts of the experience.
The challenge was to build one from the ground up — spanning DVD packaging, advertising, email campaigns, and the website — and give the emerging brand a consistent, recognizable identity.

My Role
As a remote Senior Designer, my role spanned brand, digital product, and marketing in close collaboration with the Revolution Golf team.
The work included identity, website design, subscriber emails, digital campaigns, training-program packaging, and marketing assets for instructors and programs.
Working directly with Justin Tupper meant there were very few layers between an idea and its execution. He had a sharp entrepreneurial instinct and a strong feel for the golf market. Decisions came quickly, and ideas moved directly into design.
Designing for attention and conversion
Revolution Golf used digital marketing as a key driver of audience growth, making advertising one of the brand’s most visible touchpoints.
I designed banners and campaign assets to make the offer immediately clear without losing the character of the brand.
That meant using strong hierarchy, concise messaging, and direct calls to action — balancing brand consistency with the speed and clarity of performance marketing.
Digital Platform
Making content, instructors and offers easy to navigate
As Revolution Golf grew, the website became the central hub where instructional content, marketing, and commercial offers came together.
Working closely with the Revolution Golf team, I helped design the experience around a growing library of videos, instructors, training programs, and products — making content easier to explore while keeping key offers and calls to action clear throughout the journey.
I also designed dedicated landing pages and promotional banners to support campaigns and conversion, creating a direct path from email and advertising into relevant content, products, and offers.
Email Marketing
Designing the subscriber experience
Email was one of Revolution Golf’s primary channels for connecting with its audience.
I designed campaigns for new training programs, instructors, products, and special offers — creating a consistent path from the inbox into the platform, where subscribers could access exclusive video lessons, expert advice, and content from leading golf instructors.

Outcome
Revolution Golf grew from an instructional golf business into a large digital platform with a highly engaged audience.
In 2017, Revolution Golf was acquired by NBC Sports Group and Golf Channel, marking the next chapter in the company’s growth.
The result was the work of the entire Revolution Golf team and everyone involved in the project — across content, product, marketing, and design. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to the project and helped shape the brand and its digital experience during such an important stage of its growth.
